Other chapters that competed included Allen, Crofton, Hartington, Osmond, and Randolph. This year’s winner was Chase Lammers of Hartington. Kelton Anderson had the highest score for Pierce FFA placing 6th overall. Students have the opportunity to showcase their abilities to maneuver a tractor attached to a trailer. Students also take tests on tractor safety, parts identification, owners manual and general knowledge of tractors. The contest is held at the Pierce County Fairgrounds during the annual Threshing Bee.
