As for individual team members, junior Keli Shermer placed fifth with a 101, junior Zaylah Pfanstiel shot a 112 and got 14th, sophomore Ashley Wacker also played a 112 and placed 15th, junior Alena Peters placed 20th and finished with a 116, junior Katelyn Gubbels ended with a 129, freshman Veronica Orona shot a 141, freshman Soiyer Pfeiffer ended with a 152, and finally Bailey Oleson had a 154.
Head coach Melinda Stelling remarked on the team’s performance saying, “I felt the girls competed well on a difficult course with some tough competition. This helped to prepare them for districts Monday.”
Shermer added to this when she said, “The day was rainy and gloomy so it was hard to keep your spirits up the whole time. I played very well and didn't give away many shots. The course we played on was very tough, and I thought that the team also did very well for never playing there before.”
Districts were held Monday.

Head coach Melinda Stelling commented, “Ashley Wacker, Soiyer Pfeiffer, and Veronica Orona all shot personal bests, which is always encouraging, but especially this time of year.
It was nice to have the opportunity to golf on the district course. Hopefully that will be to our advantage on Monday in district competition.”
The Lady Jays will be competing at Fairplay Golf Course in Norfolk for districts.
