Class of 2025

By Alanna McKeown

Pierce High School graduated 55 students this year at the graduation ceremony held Saturday, May 10, at the high school.

“It was a beautiful day to have a smooth ceremony. I'm excited for their future, and I wish them all their best. I’m hopeful that when they are all done with college they will come back and raise their families in Pierce,” Brahmer says.

The ceremony was about an hour long. During the ceremony they had the class president, Hadleigh Collison; salutatorian, Claudia Riggert; and the valedictorian, Aubrey Hanson all present speeches.

Following the speeches Mark Brahmer gave credit to all the honor graduates, which include Ava Knox, Brayden McRoberts, Nicholas Efta, Payton Cederburg, Elijah Streff, Anthony Liese, Scarlet Babl, Aylla Weeder, Claudia Riggert, Hadleigh Collison, Natalie Kosch, Skylar Scholting, Aubrey Hanson, Alexis Sporleder, Kaylee Steffen, Amelia Ahlers, Soiyer Pfieffer, and Hadley Wragge.

Then he gave credit to the Scholar Athletes, which were Scholting and Streff.

Finally, right before the students were handed their diplomas, they played a video of the students' baby pictures next to their senior pictures.

“I think the ceremony went really well. I think graduating was a lot more bittersweet than I expected it to be. It was really eye opening to see all the people that love you celebrate this milestone. I’m gonna miss seeing all my friends everyday, and I really took some of the time with my classmates and teachers for granted. I think Pierce High has prepared me more than enough for my next chapter in life. After high school I’m going to Wayne State College to study radiology,” Babl stated.

Now it is time to celebrate the 2025 graduates and the upcoming 2026 seniors.
