On August 21, the girls golf team headed to O'Neill Golf Club to compete in the O’Neill golf meet, and the team finished ninth out of a total of 16 teams.
“The team's overall performance was good for our first tournament,” head coach Jason Freudenburg states. “I thought that each girl did well with parts of their golf game. It will take hard work and determination, along with some consistency, to help the girls' entire golf game be consistent and better.”
On the individual side of things, Brailey Jensen shot the lowest score for the team with a 118, placing 34th. Coming in behind her was Camassia White, ending with a 124, and lastly, Addison Frye ended up with a 129.
The team heads over to Wayne to compete in the Wayne golf meet on August 29.
