The Christmas Countdown Brings Festive Dress-Up Days

It is about that time when students start counting down the days until Christmas. Luckily, this year, the journalism staff is helping bring holiday spirit around the school by organizing a full Christmas countdown of themed dress-up days.
The celebration begins Wednesday, December 10, with Christmas cheer and class colors. Each grade is assigned a festive color to help fill the building with holiday energy. Staff wear white, seniors wear red, juniors wear blue, sophomores wear green, freshmen wear pink, eighth graders wear purple, and seventh graders wear brown.
On Thursday, December 11, the theme is bag it up. Students can bring anything except a bookbag to carry their supplies.
Friday, December 12, brings movie magic day where students dress in a shirt or as a character from their favorite holiday movie.
After the weekend, the countdown continues with winter wonderland on Monday, December 15, encouraging white and blue outfits.
Tuesday, December 16, shifts into the day called it’s vacation time, where students can show off their vacation gear.
On Wednesday, December 17, the theme is steal the grinch's style, so be sure to come head to toe in green.
Thursday, December 18, features the classic tacky and ugly sweater day where everyone is encouraged to wear their ugliest or tackiest sweater or shirt.
The countdown closes Friday, December 19, with Santa’s workshop day. Staff dress in Santa styles, and students fill the halls as elves.
Dressing up for a minimum of two days will enter students in a raffle drawing for the chance to win one of three free yearbooks.
