The Annual All-School Play is Inching Closer
By Rylee Altwine
What could possibly go wrong in a play? Well, lucky for you, this year's plays are called The Play that Goes Wrong and The Prelude. Due to the outstanding talent, there's not just one play this year, there are two!
Both plays are physical comedies, and there is a piece in the play for everyone to enjoy. The second play, The Prelude, will give a backstory on the stagehands. Both plays show you what to do when everything around you goes wrong—starring unique characters on and off stage. Pierce High students will be putting on these plays for the community on Friday, April 11, and Saturday, April 12, at 7 p.m., charging adults $6 and students $4 to get in.
“Each one of our cast has gone above and beyond, ensuring that their character stands out, and we cannot wait for everyone to see it. We are really excited about the play for all school this year,” stated director Brock Bretschneider.
“I always enjoyed speech and decided to see if the play would also be fun as a similar style of artistic outlet. I hope to gain better confidence in front of crowds and to be entertaining. I'm most excited for some of the funny moments, and I hope they are received well,” states first year senior, Nickolas Efta.
