JV Football Looks to Bounce Back
By Kinley Hilkemann
The JV football team battled against Plainview-Osmond on the field but fell 20-6. Despite the loss, the team continued to compete and work together throughout the game.
The game remained tied at 6-6 after the first quarter.
Plainview-Osmond then pulled ahead 20-6 by halftime and extended its lead to 28-6 after the third quarter.
Neither team scored in the fourth quarter, leaving the final score at 28-6.
“We just need to learn our offense better and run the ball a little harder, but overall defense did good for the most part,” Aiden Fraizer, a junior, said.
The Pierce JV will play most Mondays throughout the month and into October.
